The Vinoneers is a platform created by a winemaker and a designer to express their creative indulgence without restraint. Not lead by sales volumes, market share or consumer insight, this is a pure expression of the love for fine wine and art.

By creating only the finest small batch, hand-crafted wines and engagingly tactile packaging with an unique artistic feel, the synergy between wine and art is tangible.

The Vinoneers is a unique partnership between Etienne Louw (Altydgedacht Estate) and Brenden Schwartz (Bravo Design). Brenden and Etienne have worked together since 2010, and the two have become good friends through the years.
The name “Vinoneers” harks back to Etienne’s previous life as a chemical engineer, while the name of the wine shadows the famous Greek play “ Orpheus and the Underworld” – which encourages us to never look back!

Etienne Louw has been an estate winemaker in Durbanville since 2005. He carries degrees in both Chemical Engineering and Viticulture and Oenology from the University of Stellenbosch. He has made multiple award-winning wines acoss a wide range of cultivars, and is also a keen vinyl record collector and guitar performer. His favourite past time is building Lego sets with his two sons, while listening to 70’s blues rock and 80’s pop in his man-cave.

Brenden started Bravo Design in 2004, after honing his skills for many years in the design industry as a Graphic Designer. He is known in the wine industry for delivering outstanding creative work and building lasting partnerships with his clients. He enjoys a well-created design as much he enjoys a well-crafted wine and therefore it only came naturally for him and Etienne to have joined forces to become the Vinoneers.
