The story of Orpheus is at once one that looks back and forward. A master of poetry and song, Orpheus is said to have been able to inspire animals, trees and rocks to move to his music.

  But he carries with him the tragedy of having looked back at the most critical moment, as he tried to guide his wife Eurydice safely from the depths of the Underworld and in so doing, lost her forever.

  In our story, it is the Raven who helps Orpheus to see the Light again, and once more turn his face towards the sun.
